Cedar Creek is a highly desirable area on Ruidoso’s west side generally aligning itself along the north and south sides of Cedar Creek Road with just a few tributary roads reaching deeper into the surrounding Lincoln National Forest. Woodsy and rustic and literally surrounded everywhere by national forest land. If you like the great outdoors, star filled night skies and cozy wooded lots with a babbling, seasonal creek in your front yard, the Cedar Creek area will be hard to beat for the location for your next Ruidoso area vacation home or full time mountain residence. Access is easy as Cedar Creek Rd intersects with Mechem Drive (NM HWY 48) in Ruidoso right at the Smokey Bear Ranger Station for the Lincoln National Forest. There’s a 1.3 mile fitness trail right behind the ranger station you may enjoy! You’ll find Cedar Creek moderately priced and then some for Ruidoso. Septics and Wells are common as you’re literally ‘living in the woods’ if you choose Cedar Creek!
